NBC 10's Dan Jaehnig hosts fundraising event with Rhode Island Food Bank

NBC 10's Dan Jaehnig hosted the Empty Bowls event with the Rhode Island Food Bank Wednesday night.

Artists made handmade bowls as a reminder of the empty bowls in the community.

Funds raised from the event support the Food Bank’s mission to provide food assistance to approximately 84,400 Rhode Islanders each month.

Over $200,000 was raised.
