Workshop on National Human Rights Plan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has organized the second workshop in a series of discussions aimed at preparing the National Human Rights Plan for the period 2027-2031.
The workshop, held via videoconference and attended by His Excellency Osama bin Saleh Al-Alawi, Minister of Social Development, brought together officials, representatives from relevant ministries and entities, and members of the National Human Rights Committee.
It was moderated by H.E. Ambassador Dr. Arwa Hassan Al-Sayed, Head of the Human Rights Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The session was also attended remotely by Bahrain’s diplomatic and consular corps abroad, ambassadors of friendly countries, United Nations representatives, and civil society organizations.
In his opening remarks, Al-Alawi expressed pride in the achievements of national institutions and civil society organizations in advancing human rights in Bahrain.
