Just one day after Married At First Sight (MAFS) star Jacqui Burfoot was granted an interim restraining order against her on-screen husband Ryan Donnelly, the groom has now applied for one against his television bride.
Yesterday, Jacqui was granted an interim restraining order against Ryan from the Magistrates Court of Tasmania, prompting Ryan to take his own legal action by applying for an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) against Jacqui at a Campbelltown court
The AVO application is due for mention on April 23.

In New South Wales, an AVO is an order made by the court against a person who makes you fear for your safety. It is intended to protect the victim against further violence, intimidation or harassment.
Jacqui has commented about the AVO in a post on MAFS gossip Instagram account MAFS Uncensored about the legal filing, writing “FAKE NEWS”.

Yesterday, Jacqui was granted an interim restraining order against Ryan from the Magistrates Court of Tasmania by Magistrate Sharon Cure. which prevents Ryan from commenting about Jacqui on social media.
She strongly encouraged Jacqui not to mention Ryan on social media either.

Before the courts got involved, the pair had been speaking frequently about each other on their own social media accounts as MAFS aired.
As seen on Tuesday night, their final vows were some of the strangest we’ve ever seen. While it was no shock that these two were donezo by the end of the experiment, it was a surprise to see two people so hell bent on writing a speech full of zingers.
The MAFS relationship between Jacqui and Ryan may be a complete disaster, but at least we’ll always have this line to remember them by: “While I love it when your big biceps pick me up, hug me, dip me and throw me in the pool, they will never be the reason I get pregnant.”
