ELNORA – The Office of Lt. Governor Micah Beckwith and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) have announced $190,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Planning Grants to three Indiana communities. These grants will support the development of long-term plans and crucial utility improvement projects.
Among the recipients, the Town of Elnora has been awarded a $90,000 Water Infrastructure Planning Grant. This funding will enable Elnora to thoroughly assess its existing water utility systems, laying the groundwork for future improvements and ensuring the community’s access to reliable water resources.
These grants are funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s CDBG program and administered by OCRA on behalf of the State of Indiana. They are vital for helping Indiana’s smaller communities plan for sustainable growth and address critical infrastructure needs.
