Supporters of former President Rodrigo Duterte gather at The Hague to show solidarity, urging the International Criminal Court (ICC) to allow the former chief executive to return home to the Philippines.
Vice President Sara Duterte, who is currently facing an impeachment case lodged by members of the House of Representatives, thanked the crowd for their unwavering support for her family.
The gathering comes after the older Duterte was arrested on March 11 upon his arrival from Hong Kong, by INTERPOL Manila, acting on a warrant of arrest issued by the ICC over charges of crimes against humanity related to his administration's implementation of the war on drugs.
