Kim Kardashian Wary Of Ex Kanye, Has Lawyer Close By
Co-parenting after a high-profile celebrity divorce is challenging enough on its own. But Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s explosive break-up wreaked havoc on the family. The two adults have gone their separate ways but still must maintain contact for the sake of their four children.
However, it’s not outside the realm of possibility that Kim Kardashian will end up with sole custody soon. Kanye West continues antagonizing the Kardashian family as he continues on his social media rampage, upsetting many in the process.
Now, Kim Kardashian is keeping her attorney close while she navigates this increasingly messy situation.
Kim Kardashian Keeps Her Lawyer Close As Kanye West Creates Chaos
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were married from 2014-2022 and welcomed four children during their union. Although they both share custody of the children, they’re generally with their mother.
But as Kanye West’s unhinged behavior escalates, Kim Kardashian feels increasingly uncomfortable letting him have access to the kids.
Naturally, the children miss their father. However, most of them are very young and can’t quite comprehend the danger. The oldest child, 11-year-old North, allegedly has the most difficulty being estranged from Kanye West.
“When Kanye’s not around, it’s very sad for the kids. North especially asks to see him,” a source close to the family reportedly told PEOPLE. “But when he is around, many times it causes frustration and stress for Kim.”
“[Kim] can’t stand when he acts irrational,” the source continued, adding that Kim only wants him to see the children in a safe environment. “She finds it ridiculous that she needs her lawyer on speed dial.”
And it seems like the Kardashians will be consulting with their attorneys more frequently after Kanye’s latest online tirades.
TMZ reports that Kanye West recently accused Kim Kardashian of sex trafficking their children. The rapper’s outlandish allegations came after North collaborated on an FKA Twigs song.
A Visit With Kanye West Abruptly Ended After An Incident Involving The Tates
Kanye West’s heavy accusations against his ex-wife caught the public off guard. However, they only started after Kim Kardashian removed North after a potentially dangerous situation involving Tristan and Andrew Tate. In 2022, Romanian authorities arrested the Tate brothers on charges involving human trafficking.
TMZ notes that Kim Kardashian prematurely ended North’s visit to her father’s home once security guards received word the Tate brothers planned to arrive. Only then did Kanye West begin attacking her online and accusing her family of human trafficking.
At the end of the day, it’s easy to see why Kim and her extended family are concerned for the children’s safety.
