Traitors star Charlotte Chilton breaks silence after ex Conor Maynard issues DNA bombshell
Charlotte Chilton has spoken out after ex Conor Maynard released a statement revealing the results of their DNA test after months of speculation about the paternity of her daughter.
Reality TV personality Charlotte Chilton broke her online silence after rumours surfaced that Conor Maynard is not the father of her baby.
The former contestant on The Traitors welcomed her daughter, Penelope, last year and had previously insisted Conor was the father.
While Conor remained silent during her pregnancy, he issued a statement on Friday evening disclosing DNA test results.
Subsequently, Charlotte shared a sweet picture of her daughter on her Instagram Story without addressing Conor's declaration, simply writing alongside it: "Those eyelashes!".
Conor took to his social media last week to clarify his paternity with respect to Charlotte's child, confirming his non-paternity after longstanding reports linked him to baby Penelope. He spoke out on Instagram Stories, sharing: "Earlier this week, I took a paternity test regarding Charlotte Chilton's baby girl, Penelope, in the presence of her legal representative."
He continued, revealing the results: "Today I've received the test results which confirm that I am not Penelope's father. I am glad that the speculation can finally be put to an end."
Conor added: "All I would ask is that people act with kindness in response to this news - there is a child at the heart of all of this and that should not be forgotten. I wish Charlotte and her family all the best. Conor."
Following his announcement, Charlotte withdrew from the glamorous Mariposa Ball and Awards on Saturday night, choosing to stay home just hours after her ex's startling revelation.
Last June, Charlotte made claims suggesting that her ex-boyfriend was the father of her unborn child. Charlotte, who gained fame from her role in BBC's The Traitors, had previously named Conor as the father shortly after discovering her pregnancy.
Conor, known for his remarkable covers of Drake's songs, briefly dated Charlotte after meeting her at a club on the night of The Traitors' final event. In October 2024, the reality TV star announced the birth of her baby girl.

Charlotte posted on social media: "Princess Penelope has arrived and we have been enjoying our 'Penelope bubble' so much,I am going to be off the radar for a little longer, whilst I enjoy these magical moments with my precious girl! ! Thank you to all that have checked in to make sure I am ok! ! My heart is full xx."
The following month, she spoke candidly to OK! magazine about her childbirth experience. She discussed how her relationship with her family has changed since her daughter's birth, stating: "We went through a real 'hate' phase when I first got pregnant but we're friends again now and she's been great.
"And my mum, well, she's basically taken on the role of the father. She'll get the bottles sterilised for me, she'll take the baby when I need it, she'll make sure I eat dinner, because it's so easy to get through the day without eating anything. It's the best diet in the world, looking after a newborn. The weight has come off me."
