The ‘pro-hanko’ faction of expats will be all over negative comments regarding this story:

“According to the verdict, Yamaguchi conspired with Tanaka and his son to have three part-time workers write fraudulent signatures of 71 voters in Saga Prefecture in Oct 2020.

"This is the worst case in the history of Japan's postwar democracy," Omura told a press conference following the ruling. "The whole truth hasn't been uncovered yet. This is just the beginning."

Why not hanko??

Do you live in Japan? Wait, my bad, no way you can be living here.

These types of recalls or whatever, are typically done by workers or volunteers, on the streets, and the signatures are just people writing their names on a sheet of paper.

Ikans are not necessary.
